Norris Avenue today

Street tour … this is a little more modest street…

DSC_0156DSC_0160DSC_0168The lady who owned this house below came running out to say hello as I was taking this picture. She moved to this house in the fifties, said everyone had green lawns in those days, and Tucson was green and lush. Then the water started to run out and people decided that rocks and gravel look pretty good too…DSC_0169DSC_0174DSC_0175DSC_0181DSC_0190and of course the artsy shot…DSC_0163

  1. Oh so beautiful. I love the cubic look to the homes (just finished geometry at school)……can so hardly wait to see this 🙂

  2. Housing style is so different here… and what Im showing you is most often the older part of town. Most of the homes are from the 40s or 50s. When you get into the foothills of Tucson’s Catalina’s, the architecture is ultramodern. I just dont feel all photography there!
You should put the southwest on your agenda! Zip down past the grand canyon on your way here. xo
