The lady who owned this house below came running out to say hello as I was taking this picture. She moved to this house in the fifties, said everyone had green lawns in those days, and Tucson was green and lush. Then the water started to run out and people decided that rocks and gravel look pretty good too…

Housing style is so different here… and what Im showing you is most often the older part of town. Most of the homes are from the 40s or 50s. When you get into the foothills of Tucson’s Catalina’s, the architecture is ultramodern. I just dont feel all photography there!
